Why work with a travel advisor instead of booking everything myself?

Because there’s a lot more to a well-planned trip than simply booking a hotel.


I handle the research, compare the options, think through the logistics, and help make sure all the pieces work together. You still get a trip that feels completely yours — just without spending hours second-guessing every decision.

What types of trips do you plan?

I primarily work with couples and families looking for thoughtfully planned vacations — from honeymoons and milestone trips to family adventures, cruises, resorts, and bigger bucket-list journeys.


The destination may change, but the goal is always the same: a trip that feels right for the people taking it.

Do you only plan certain destinations?

Not at all.


There are destinations and styles of travel I know especially well, but I plan trips around the world. If your trip falls outside my area of expertise, I’ll always be upfront about that and help point you in the right direction.

Do you charge a planning fee?

Yes. My planning fee allows me to dedicate the time and attention your trip deserves.


It covers the research, recommendations, itinerary design, booking coordination, and support that goes into creating a trip specifically for you.

When do I pay the planning fee?

After our initial consultation, once we decide we’re a good fit to work together.


The planning fee is paid before I begin researching and building your trip.

What does your planning process look like?

It’s pretty simple:


  1. We start with a conversation about your trip.
  2. You complete the planning agreement and fee.
  3. I research and create your personalized recommendations.
  4. We fine-tune the details and confirm your bookings.
  5. I stay with you through the planning process and provide everything you need before departure.


Then you get to go enjoy it.

Do you book flights too?

I generally don’t book airfare directly, but I’m happy to help you think through flight options and timing so they work with the rest of your itinerary.


I’ll take care of the accommodations, transfers, activities, tours, and other pieces we’ve planned together.

8. How are payments handled?

I’ll send you a secure authorization form or payment link whenever a payment is needed, and you’ll receive confirmation for your records.


The only exception is my planning and design package, which is paid directly through my agency once we’ve confirmed your trip details and you’ve signed the terms and conditions.

What happens if something goes wrong while I’m traveling?

You won’t be left wondering who to call.


If an issue comes up, I’m available to help however I can, and many of the trusted partners I work with also have local or in-destination support.


Your travel documents will include the important contact information you may need while you’re away, so help is never far.

Do you help with travel insurance, passports, and entry requirements?

Yes. I’ll provide travel insurance options and help make sure important details like passport validity, visas, and destination entry requirements are on your radar.


You’ll always be responsible for making sure your personal travel documents are current and valid, but I’ll help you know what to look for.
